Natural Resource Conservation Technician

The Herkimer County Soil & Water Conservation District has an opening for a full-time Natural Resource Conservation Technician.

This position involves hydroseeding, education and outreach, along with providing technical assistance on soil and water conservation projects.  Good communication skills, enthusiasm, manual dexterity, natural resource knowledge, agronomic and/or educational background preferred.  The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined and ready to work on invasive species programs.
