Warehouse Worker

Johnstone Supply Ames, Iowa is looking for a motivated person to fill a full-time warehouse and driver position. We serve the HVAC/R industry. Customer interactions will occur daily.

Job description include but not limited to:

• Receive, process, and organize warehouse stock products. 
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule. 
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits. 
• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment. 
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations. 
• Deliver products to customer within a 100-mile radius. (No overnights)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• General knowledge of a variety of basic topics (math, reading, basic accounting, typing, windows, etc.)
• Prior experience working in a warehouse/distribution center a plus.
• Warehouse/Operations certification a plus

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
• Ability to work in a team environment and meet performance standards/individual performance goals.
• Good attention to detail
• Dependable and able to report to work as scheduled/have regular punctual attendance.
• Willingness to learn WMS Technology
• Ability to adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures for safety rules and requirements received in training.
