The Responsibilities: • Manage a team of 5-10 sales executives and Sales Team Leaders. • Engage daily by directly interacting and coaching the sales team. • Manage and coach each individual on the team across key performance metrics including prospecting, discovery calls, GAP analysis, demos, and closing skills. • Build skills, confidence, and trust with direct reports, and provide developmental feedback for continuous improvement. Meet regularly with team members in 1: 1 sessions. • Develop talent on the team, prepare new leaders, and promote either from within the team or to other teams. • Work towards having every sales executive on the team achieve or exceed quota each month. • Collaborate with other sales managers, directors, and executives across our organization. • Supervise and conduct training on skills improvement, both at the individual level and across the team. Maintain outstanding presentation skills. • Actively engage in new hire interviews, talent assessment, and hiring. • Maintain and grow headcount through recruiting, selecting, and training top sales talent. • Address performance issues on the team, including delivering formal Performance Improvement Plans (PIP). In the event of a Rep's failure to meet the requirements of PIP, the Sales Manager, with the support of HR, is responsible for the dismissal of the Rep from the company. • Maintain professional and technical knowledge of the digital advertising space, including but not limited to: Google Ads, BING Ads, Facebook Ads. • Maintain a complete understanding of all of Word Stream and LOCAL iQ's product and service offerings at a level where they can coach team members. • Live the core values of the company and conduct themselves at the highest professional standard each day. Requirements: • 5+ years of experience in relevant digital marketing sales and sales leadership. • Demonstrated skills in coaching, mentoring, and professional development. • Proven experience in owning and leading projects to successful outcomes. • Ability to observe, evaluate, and use various techniques to improve results. • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple objectives in a fast-paced environment. • Strong analytic skills to manage rep progression and pipeline. • Experience with dashboard management and reporting in Salesforce. • Punctual, reliable, and responsible. The annualized base salary for this role will range between $100,000 and $110,000. Base compensation is reflective of many factors, including, but not limited to, the market in which one lives/works, individual education level, skills, certifications and experience.
