The Freedom Area School District, a small rural community located in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, seeks a highly qualified, ethical, and visionary leader as its next Superintendent of Schools.

Candidate must have experience in achieving high academic performance, sound school finance and business management skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills to build relationships and foster community engagement, creatively and strategically solving problems, and have experience with the development and implementation of K-12 curriculum.

Experience as a Superintendent, Asst. Superintendent or Central Office Administrator, and Building Level Administrator, required. Doctorate Degree preferred. Advanced degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction or related area, required. PA Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility, required.

Appointment effective September 2025. Salary is negotiable. Full comprehensive benefit package available. The search process is being coordinated by the Beaver Valley Intermediate Unit.
