Now Hiring a Farm Credit Express Relationship Manager.
The Farm Credit Express Relationship Manager is responsible for learning and developing skills needed to successfully market and develop the Farm Credit Express program by focusing on building new and existing farm equipment dealer relationships, promoting Farm Credit Express ("FCE") products and programs to the dealer network, as well as providing exceptional customer service. Promotes related services and cross sales activities while serving current and prospective customers and dealerships according to ACA policies, standards and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Represents the Association in a professional and enthusiastic manner by providing an exceptional level of customer service in all interactions with internal and external customers.
Develops new business and expands existing relationships with farm equipment dealers eligible to participate in the FCE program in assigned territory.
Calls on existing dealerships in order to identify needs, gain valuable market insight, and work in partnership with dealership sales staff.
Calls on prospective dealership partners taking into consideration the nature of the dealership, customer eligibility and volume potential.
Strives to achieve established individual and/or team goals.
Maintains knowledge of FCE products and processes, other Association products and services as well as knowledge of the industry and market areas served.
Provides training to dealership staff related to FCE products and processes.
Attends dealer events and farm equipment shows in order to build relationships, support participating dealerships, gain industry knowledge, generate new business leads and be visible to dealership customer base.
Provides marketing presentations to individuals or groups at dealership events upon request.
Initiates and executes dealer agreements with dealer prospects.
To qualify for this position, candidates should possess the following:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication or related discipline.
Work Experience: Minimum of one to two (2) years sales or lending experience.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated computer proficiency and familiarity with financial databases and spreadsheet applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to employ diplomacy and tact with dealerships, customers and prospects while articulating the benefits of Farm Credit.
Ability to be assertive and decisive in arriving at sound business decisions which serve the best interest of the dealership, Association and the borrower.
Ability to travel to/from dealership locations, branch offices, AgFirst or other facilities, including overnight travel, as necessary.
Agricultural background with related practical experience preferred.
