Assistant Controller

Position Summary

This position is responsible for management of accounting functions, to include general ledger and all related subledgers, as well as supervision of assigned accounting staff, Growth Fund accounting principles, practices, and procedures, and assisting in the annual audit and budget process.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or other closely related field and eight years full time and progressively responsible experience in accounting or finance is required. Must have CPA certification. Must have at least three years experience supervising, mentoring, and training others. Must have public audit experience or experience managing external auditors. Must have experience with multi-company consolidations. Must have computer experience with advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite and experience with an ERP system (such as Oracle, SAP, People Soft, Workday, Lawson). Must have experience in the creation and production of financial reports. Must have experience in establishing and maintaining accounting systems. Must be willing to assist others, learn new skills and participate in a team oriented environment. Must have valid drivers’ license and be insurable under Growth Fund vehicle insurance policy. Must pass criminal history background check and pre-employment drug test.
