Director of Sales & Marketing Lead sales and marketing team to improve market position and achieve financial growth. Work with Account Management Team, marketing and company leadership to increase sales opportunities and maximize revenue. Identify and utilize multiple avenues of promoting the company to sustain current growth, increase potential clients, and expand the areas of involvement in North America. Drive sustainable growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients. Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers. Increase the company, business and longevity of training. Identify and pursue new clients and turn this into increased business. Maintain contact with customers as appropriate to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. Meet potential clients to grow, maintain and leverage current and future training opportunities. Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization. Research and build relationships with new clients. Set up meetings between client decision makers and companys practice leaders/Principals. Plan approaches and pitches. Work with team to develop proposals that speak to the clients needs, concerns, and objectives. Participate in pricing the solution/service. Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion. Present an image that mirrors that of the client. Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships. Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs. Arrange and participate in client discussions around training, proposals, and future collaborations. Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends. Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels. Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales. Identify and develop the companys unique selling propositions to be able to stand out against competition. Keep Customer Tracking Database current and ever-growing while ensuring data is accurate. Identify upcoming targets and ensure they are met by the team. Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets. Work with company leadership and marketing to ensure contacts meet company standards. Present business development training with nontechnical information at Workshops, Company visits, and potentially conferences. Research and develop better ways to attract new clients, increase training with current clients, and grow others within the company. Understand the companys goal and purpose to continually enhance the companys performance. Oversee activities of three (3) sales and marketing professionals.Requires: Minimum Bachelors degree in Engineering plus 6 years experience as a Sales Engineer or related occupation that must have included selling and promoting complex technical and scientific products and solutions across industries with a focus on reliability manufacturing.Respond to: Nick Drew, COO, Reliability Solutions Training LP, 9389 Hamman Ave., Pensacola, Florida 32514-7059. |
