Job Description:
OCM BOCES Cortlandville Campus is seeking a dynamic Engineering Technology Instructor to lead our two-year Engineering Technology Professions program, which prepares high school students for high-demand careers in engineering—with a strong emphasis on electrical systems, micro-nano fabrication, and emerging technologies. The instructor will be responsible for delivering a hands-on, project-based engineering curriculum that emphasizes foundational concepts in electrical engineering principles, circuit design, fabrication processes, and safety practices. This two-year program, offered in collaboration with Tompkins Cortland Community College (TC3), Cornell University’s Nano Scale Science & Technology Facility, and local industries, emphasizes practical training to ensure students are job or college ready upon graduation. Candidates should have NYS teaching certification in engineering technology or a related STEM field, or experience in the engineering industry, with a preferred background in electrical engineering or technology.
