Day Support Direct Support Professional Full Time w/benefits to provide training and assistance to adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities in Powhatan County and Goochland counties mainly. High School diploma & valid VA driver’s license required. The Direct Support Professional (DSP) evaluates, plans, implements and monitors instruction and training for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to maximize independent functioning and community relationships. This position is responsible for program planning, implementation, records documentation and parent/family contact. This position works in group settings in the community and in the center. Experience and work history in person centered thinking is a plus. Hiring Salary starting at $41,600.
