Circulation Field Assistant

JOB SUMMARY:

Assists in all aspects of circulation field work. This will include route delivery, service verifications, preparation of route delivery lists, training delivery contractors, redelivery of missed paper complaints and assisting in the distribution center.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Delivers and trains uncontracted routes
2. Updates and develops route delivery lists on a regular basis to optimize our delivery routes
3. Delivery of missed paper complaints
4. Resolves customer delivery issues.
5. Acts in the newspapers best interest in assisting the growth of home delivery circulation.
6. On-site, regular and reliable attendance is required.
7. Safely drive to and from various locations.

MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Assists in special projects as needed.

2. All other duties as assigned.

NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

1. Ability to follow all Company policies and procedures including but not limited to attendance standards.
2. Must have valid drivers license and insurance and reliable vehicle
3. Basic computer skills. Experience with Microsoft office a plus

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or GED
