Interpreter/Translator

Can you speak in a language other than English?  Are you interested in being a paid interpreter/translator?

The Siskiyou County Health and Human Services Agency is looking to contract with qualified individuals for interpreting and translation services.

Working with Siskiyou County Social Services Division, contracted individuals may assist customers with interpreting/translation services in any of the following languages:   Spanish, Hmong, or Lao either in person or via telephone conversations.  Flexible schedules available dependent on contractor’s availability.  Please note regular business hours are 8: 00 a.m. to 5: 00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Qualified applicants will be independently tested to confirm level of competency prior to contracting for interpreting/translation services.
