Job descriptionOverview DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Ensure timely and accurate collection of outstanding accounts receivable balances, establishing effective communication with clients for payment reminders. · Conduct thorough reviews of collection effectiveness, allowing for recommendations for policy modifications to enhance overall collections. · Oversee the legal procedures and delegate responsibilities related to the collection of delinquent accounts, ensuring seamless coordination with external collection agencies when necessary. · Set up, review, and track customers' credit activities, ensuring they are within specific guidelines. · Regularly audit accounts that are overdue and manage the collection process effectively before categorizing debts as bad. · Analyze current accounts receivable processes and find ways to improve efficiency, suggesting new policies for management’s approval. · Answer inbound calls, assisting customers with queries and payment processes, as well as managing walk-ins effectively. · Collaborate with team members and management to exchange vital information, ensuring that account records are accurate and up to date. · Prepare and present detailed accounts receivable reports to various stakeholders as needed. · Stay informed about team activities, pinpoint problem areas, and implement solutions accordingly. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS: · High School Diploma or Equivalent required. · One to three years of experience in a related field preferred. · Proven capability to lead and inspire a team effectively. · Strong commitment to delivering high standards of excellence. · Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential. · Highly proficient with Quick Books and Microsoft Office Suite. · Strong attention to detail is a must. · Familiarity with data collection and analysis methodologies. · Ability to collaborate with all levels of management. · Demonstrated organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. · Flexible and adaptable in response to changing priorities.
