The Pre-Press Technician I is responsible for tasks that include:

• Setting up production runs
• Updating job orders and releasing to other departments
• Loading plates into plate-making equipment
• Operating and maintaining plate-making and bending equipment
• Performing quality checks of finished plates
• Organizing and releasing plates to Press Department to keep production on schedule
• Working directly with customers and production personnel as necessary to work out any problems with a job
• Maintaining a clean working environment
• Other duties as assigned

This on-site position is full-time shift work, including scheduled nights, weekends, and holidays.Must be reliable and able to report to scheduled shifts on-time and ready to begin work. Candidates should have the ability to adapt to change, prioritize work, handle multiple tasks, remain flexible, and interact with co-workers and customers while demonstrating patience.

Requirements:

• A high school education or equivalent
• Good computer skills and the ability to learn specialized software; experience with Microsoft 365 preferred
• The ability to use small hand tools to make minor adjustments and perform maintenance on processing equipment
• The ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Color vision
