Position Summary: The Office of Multicultural Student Affairs at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville is seeking applicants for a Retention Specialist. The Retention Specialist within Multicultural Student Affairs serves in a student services capacity for services within the department as it relates to outreach to currently enrolled students. They serve as a retention specialist to assists undergraduate students in developing personal, social, learning and life strategies. This role is centered on supporting at-risk students and those transferring to another institution, with the aim of enhancing retention and ensuring degree completion for all students, particularly those from historically underrepresented populations. This is a full-time position offering excellent benefits and paid leave. Salary range for this position is $43,000 - $46,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
