Job Summary B&A is looking for a Verification Test Lea to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. We are seeking an experienced Verification Test Lead to oversee and execute functional and performance testing activities for Navy ERP Central Component (ECC) systems. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of SAP Solution Manager (SolMan), OpenText Application ALM Quality Center, and proven experience in leading and coordinating verification and validation efforts. This role involves planning, executing, and reporting on test activities, while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met. Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and support execution of testing and verification of applications and system software to identify deficiencies and risks associated with design, documentation, development, modification, implementation, installation, and support of new or existing systems.
- Conduct manual testing as part of Navy ERP's Test and Evaluation Team.
- Author and maintain test documentation to include test cases, test procedures, and test reports in accordance with organization's policies and procedures.
- Serve as the deficiency review board (DRB) co-chair for manual testing.
- Coordinate program test activities while working closely with project managers, developers, engineers, business analysts, and requirements personnel to plan, coordinate, and execute both static analysis and dynamic testing of systems to verify acceptance of technical specifications.
- Evaluate the test basis and support the refinement of requirements to ensure testability, clarity, and correctness, create test plans to document the overall test strategy, test approach, test schedule, pass/fail criteria, test environment architecture, and test lab resources (software, personnel, tools).
- Analyze test results, monitor test progress, report status, communicate findings, brief results, and make recommendations to key stakeholders of product readiness for follow-on test events and/or deployment.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert for testing of Systems, Applications and Products (SAP) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
- Provide advice and recommendations on T&E policies, processes and guidelines, conducting analysis, identifying deficiencies, and recommending resolution to problems and issues, and preparing and presenting reports.
- Mentor other contractor and government test team members on testing tools, process, and procedures.
Education and Experience
- 5 years of experience.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field.
Required and Desired Skills
- 8 Years of experience of Navy ERP Central Component (ECC) to conduct functional and performance testing.
- 8 years of experience of SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) suite
- Expert knowledge of OpenText Application ALM Quality Center
- Ability to plan and execute verification and validation methods and generate bi-directional traceability of requirements to tests.
- Ability to lead teams, coordinate test events, monitor test activities, track and report progress.
- Skilled in creating test plans and conducting test design activities to generate test cases/procedures.
- Ability in executing test activities to include integration, system, functional, performance, acceptance.
- Skilled in capturing test data, generating test metrics, analyzing test results, and analyzing acceptance criteria conditions.
- Skilled in preparing test reports, preparing presentations, briefing results, providing overall assessments and making recommendations to stakeholders, customers, sponsors.
- Ability to identify, assess, and provide recommendations to resolve test deficiencies in a timely manner when identified.
- Expert knowledge of Worksoft test suite including writing and troubleshooting scripts (6+ years' experience).
- Knowledge of utilizing automation testing tools to conduct functional and performance testing.
