The Opportunity

This role is based in the Informatics (IT) organization supporting Roche Diagnostics (DIA) in Indianapolis. Roche DIA provides technologies to impact patients by providing innovative diagnostic tools and solutions that enable early and accurate detection of diseases, support personalized treatment plans, and improve overall healthcare outcomes.

Roche Diagnostics Commercial Operations focuses on enabling an Affiliate to consume product/services related to commercial back-office processes, in particular related to Gov. and Commercial Pricing, Quote and Contract Management, Tender Management, Distributor Management, Commercial Channel Inventory Allocation, Software Monetization, Sales Planning & Forecasting, and related Analytics.

Commercial Operations is back-office focused and enables our affiliates to plan, forecast and manage commercialization of our products. It ensures we have the right solutions to facilitate pricing, negotiating, contracting, ordering and keeping the transparency across the various relevant processes. As an IT Delivery Manager, you will be accountable for value delivery through a subset of technology solutions within an overarching product strategy. With a focus on solutions, with high stakeholder, technical or geographical complexity, you will collaborate closely with Product Managers to shape the product strategy and roadmap and maximize value delivered by agile teams and/or Managed Services promoting networked, agile ways of working and role modeling business partnering.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships and be a consultative partner to the US Diagnostics business stakeholders to drive business value creation in alignment with the respective product strategies

  • Define, deliver and manage the end-to-end lifecycle, ensuring solutions deliver tangible and meaningful value for the US Diagnostics business aligned with customer needs, expected business outcomes, and the overarching product strategy

  • Support the aggregated Product planning and financial management through leading or coordinating technical discussions and supporting vendor negotiations

  • Ensure stability, quality and transparency in all aspects of the product governance and partner with senior/global leaders to ensure compliance with existing and changing regulations (e.g. Informatics Quality, Information Security, Finance)

  • Partner with Product Management in the creation of the product vision and strategy through deep partnership and collaboration with stakeholders

  • Support prioritization and strategic planning, and collaborates with other Delivery Management roles for the definition of end-to-end service levels and monitoring of OKRs

  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and other Delivery Management roles to lead, manage and mobilize Agile Teams. Lead and influence in a matrix environment; create an environment of teamwork and partnering within the area and across business organizations and Informatics

  • Work closely with Product Managers and Chapters to ensure the workforce strategy supports the future product needs and that the product fosters agile working

Who You Are

  • Bachelors or advanced degree

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a global organization

  • Extensive experience in understanding the commercial business processes in large enterprises and the ability to navigate matrix environments

  • Exhibits a Lean-Agile Mindset and excels at Product Management practices

  • Demonstrates an executive presence, strong business acumen, ability to navigate ambiguity, and manage complexity

  • Has an enterprise mindset that can break down silos. Focus on continuous delivery through collaboration, and bringing people together to work towards the same purpose across organizational boundaries

  • Exhibits ability to empower teams and individuals to act autonomously and hold them accountable

  • Exhibits intellectual curiosity and integrity and has a strong passion for innovation

  • Has a keen IT market focus: you are passionate about major trends for the specific discipline

Location: Indianapolis (in office requirement)

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is $94,200 - $174,900. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
