Head of Software Operations and Quality Assurance

Enmark Systemshas an opening in Ann Arbor, Michigan, for a Head of Software Operations and Quality Assurance position. Lead the development and modernization of cloud-based product lines, ensuring a seamless transition and alignment with the company's strategic goals. Oversee the implementation of business strategies in collaboration with the CTO, focusing on innovation and efficiency in software operations. Develop and refine QA processes, including automation frameworks, to enhance product quality and reduce the occurrence of critical issues. Utilize DORA metrics to evaluate process performance and maturity, driving continuous improvement and achieving high or elite performance levels. Manage the full lifecycle of software releases, including version management, deployment, and comprehensive documentation, ensuring smooth and timely launches. Coordinate deployments across QA, Staging, and Production environments, maintaining high standards of quality and reliability. Streamline customer integration processes, ensuring successful integrations and addressing customer-reported issues to enhance satisfaction and support. Administer Azure Dev Ops workflows and access, incorporating additional tools and methodologies to optimize project management and operational effectiveness. Provide leadership and coaching to QA and software operations teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth. Train teams on Agile and Scrum methodologies, optimizing the Agile process to improve team effectiveness and product quality. Forecast project requirements, budgets, and timelines, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives and providing reliable estimates for planning and resource allocation. Requires Masters degree in Management with a concentration in IT and Project Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration with a Technology concentration. Position requires at least 2 years of experience in (1) managing software operations and quality assurance; (2) leading teams and directing projects in a management or leadership position; (3) utilizing Agile and Scrum methodologies; (4) utilizing cloud technologies and automation tools; (5) implementing quality assurance automation frameworks; (6) managing budgets and forecasting project requirements; (7) using Azure Dev Ops, Microsoft Stack, SDLC methodologies, Azure Cloud, Git Hub, and Lucidchart.
