The Assistant Professor of Biology is a tenure-track, nine-month faculty position in the Department of Biology at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. The teaching load is 12 credits per semester (24 credits/year) and will include courses in introductory biology and human anatomy, as well as upper-level courses that support degree requirements in various pre-professional health programs. There is also the possibility of teaching other courses based upon area(s) of interest, specialization, and department needs. Additional responsibilities include the development of a productive research program involving undergraduates, student advising, and department, school, college, and university-level service.
