Parks, Trails and Recreation Director

CITY OF CHISHOLM PARKS, TRAILS, AND RECREATION DIRECTOR

The City of Chisholm, Minnesota is seeking a Parks, Trails, and Recreation Director to perform supervisory and administrative work, manage the city parks, trails, and recreation programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

*Degree in Recreation Administration, Physical Education, Business Administration, Parks Management or related field or five years related experience with a focus on recreation management. 
*Valid driver’s license
*Ability to collaborate and communicate with various stakeholder’s

Other Preferred Skills and Abilities:

*Knowledge of the principles and methods of municipal parks and recreation planning and development
*Youth development training
*Excellent communication and public presentation skills
*Public relations, marketing, website development, and social media management
*Strong understanding of grant writing and securing alternative funding sources. 
Salary: MAPE Union $77,235.00 Annual Salary
