FUELS GIS/LiDAR ANALYSTTRIBAL FORESTRY DIVISION OF FIRE The qualified applicant must possess a Masters degree ingeography, natural resources, computer science or closelyrelated field is preferred, OR Bachelors degree in geography,natural resources, computer sciences or closely related fieldand two (2) years of relevant, increasingly responsible GI Sexperience. Experience with utilizing and comprehending LiDAR data. Experience with WINDOWS operating system and the suiteof Arc GIS software components, extensions and spreadsheets. Experience with GIS database design and development, GP Sapplications and sound cartographic knowledge. Also, a basicunderstanding of forestry and fire concepts in terminology.Must possess or be able to obtain a valid State of Montana Drivers License. Driving duties conducted with a valid State of Montana drivers license require BIA/Northwest Regional Office Safe Driver Approval and employee adherence to allresponsibilities under the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) Motor Vehicle Policy.This is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Tribes Drug Free Workplace Program, therefore incumbent is subject to random drug testing.
