Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator

Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators are responsible for operating our 8.8 MGD Pine Brook Advanced Tertiary Wastewater Treatment Plant.  Common activities include taking samples, monitoring data, performing maintenance, and operating the plant’s equipment and processes, among other tasks.  
 
The successful candidate must hold and maintain a valid NJ Class B Commercial Driver’s License (with Tanker Endorsement) or obtain same within ninety days of hire and be at least a high school graduate.  The ideal candidate will also possess experience in wastewater treatment or a closely related field, a NJDEP License in Sewer Treatment (S 1-4), and able to lift 75 pounds safely.
