The Marion County Chamber of Commerce is seeking a visionary and results-driven leader to serve as its President. This is a full-time, salary, exempt position. The President will be responsible for guiding the Chamber's strategic direction, overseeing daily operations, advocating for the needs of our members,and promoting the economic well-being of Marion County. This is a unique opportunity for anexperienced executive to make a lasting impact on the local business community.Some of the key responsibilities and qualifications for the position include: Foster relationships with local businesses, government agencies, and community stakeholders. Advocate for pro-business policies and initiatives at the local, state, and federal levels. Develop and manage the Chamber's budget, lead fundraising efforts and ensure fiscalresponsibility. Provide regular updates and reports to the Board of Directors on the Chamber's performance andachievements. Represent the Chamber in various public forums and speaking engagements. Bachelor's degree in business, economics, public administration, or related field (Master's degreepreferred). Proven leadership experience, preferably in a chamber of commerce, economic developmentorganization, or similar role. Strong knowledge of local business issues, economic development, and advocacy. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
