GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Manager of HRIS and Analytics is responsible for overseeing the management and optimization of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and leading data analytics initiatives within the HR department. This role involves ensuring the HRIS is effectively utilized to support HR operations, generating actionable insights through data analysis, and driving strategic decision-making. Performs complex work for a variety of human resources services such as total rewards, administration, and employee experience. Provides training to staff on HRIS and oversees the daily workflow. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Lead, mentor, and manage HRIS and Analytics. Oversees and maintains optimal function of the HRIS, which may include customization, maintenance, and upgrade to application and systems. Anticipates future human resources needs and ensures computer systems are in place to meet those needs. Directs revision of existing programs to increase operational efficiency and adapt to new requirements. Train and oversee the day-to-day activities to support human resources, payroll and other interrelated functions. Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users. Manages permissions, access, and settings for HRIS users. Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior staff. Conduct cost analysis for various HR initiatives, including compensation programs, benefits plans, and employee development programs. Collaborate with HR and finance teams to develop cost projections and ensure alignment with organizational financial goals. Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, IT, and external vendors for HRIS to ensure effective definition of and delivery of HRIS functions. Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology. Promotes proactive approaches using the HRIS to solve business needs/problems while enhancing the understanding and acceptance of the HRIS capabilities. Assist in the review, testing and implementation of HRIS system upgrades or patches. Provides support for HRIS including, but not limited to, researching, and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws, perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. Oversees the procurement of appropriate hardware and software to ensure that the organization has high quality, efficient systems. Collaborates with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implement solutions. Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive material including medical related information, salaries, beneficiaries, and other personal data for the purpose of ensuring the continued success of the various benefit programs. Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data. Supports benefits administration by participating and coordinating special projects involving benefit analysis. Develops and maintains the Human Resources Dashboard, in coordination with the Human Resources department managers and Vice President of Human Resources. Serves as subject matter expert for HRIS. This job description excludes marginal functions that are incidental to performing the job. Other duties may exist. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field and ten (10) years progressively responsible human resources and data analytics experience with two (2) years supervisory experience. Experience may be substituted in lieu of education on a year-for-year basis up to four years. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree Professional in HR – PHR (SHRM) Infor experience Power BI Certification ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to analyze data, compile reports and provide trending data and analysis, and requires independent judgement to resolve issues within various plans and/or programs. Must have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Must have intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Power BI. Must be familiar with FLSA and other relevant employment laws. Must have excellent interpersonal and technical skills. Must have excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail. Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications associated with the performance of assigned work is required, such as Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point and Access). Basic problem-solving skills associated with applications is expected. Must be able to work in a team environment. Must be able to effectively prioritize multiple projects and due dates. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive data. Must be able to maintain good work attendance.
