Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager - Application Architect
Skills – Genpact LLC seeks Senior Manager - Application Architect (multiple positions) in Richardson, TX to simplify complex IT systems solutions for clients in commercial leasing and lending domain. Structure process and capture improvement initiatives to facilitate clients through a pragmatic decision-making process. Lead architecture and design discussions with clients and vendors. Convert business requirements into technical requirements to create architecture and designs. Define technical design and effort estimations using applicable estimation techniques and tools. Participate in review, comparison, and selection of new IT solutions. Identify business needs and opportunities and manage the development of solutions to problems through discussions with clients and other stakeholders. Provide technical direction and supervision to global teams, review their deliverables, and keep track of progress. Integrate, create, and manage application programming interfaces (APIs) exposing microservices (e.g., REST or SOAP) including development and support of Python services. Design and implement the authentication and authorization for the APIs exposed to external and internal partners. Design and develop cloud-hosted, distributed, responsive, single-page web applications using Java Script, Python3, Flask, HTML5, CSS3, PaaS (Benastalk), Serverless Application Model (SAM), cloud hosted databases (AWS RDS), Object Storage (S3), and cache services (Dynamo DB). Identify emerging technologies for resolution of challenging problems across projects. Design and develop the batch processing using Managed Workflow for Apache Airflow (MWAA). Lead a team of senior and junior developers and coordinate with global teams on deliverables and support.
Education – Position requires a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering (all), Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 6 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor's experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Foreign degree equivalents are acceptable. Position also requires 4 years of experience in architecting and designing software applications in Banking and Financial services with a focus on equipment leasing and lending; 2 years of experience in application modernization and cloud migration; 4 years of experience with Python, Flask, SQL, HTML5, CSS3, Java Script, and O Auth 2.0/OIDC; 4 years of experience with cloud services - Beanstalk, API Gateway, ALB (Application Load Balancer), Lambda, MWAA (Amazon Managed Apache Airflow), Object Storage (S3), cloud hosted databases (AWS RDS), cache services (Dynamo DB), Elastic Compute Service (EC2), Identity and Management Service (IAM), Code Pipeline, and Code Commit; and 1 year of experience with AWS AI/ML offerings. Position headquartered in Richardson, TX with placement at project sites nationally within the United States with approximately 18% of travel required.
