AP Clerk: $51,417.60 - $56,180.80 Annually The principal function of an employee in this class is to perform the entire accounts payable process for the City. The work is performed under the supervision and direction of the City Controller, but considerable leeway is granted for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative. The nature of the work performed requires that an employee in this class establish and maintain effective working relationships with the City Controller, other City employees, vendors, and the general public. The principal duties of this class are performed in a general office environment.
GIS Specialist $74,796.80 - $79,393.60 Annually The principal function of an employee in this class is to assist in the development and maintenance of the GIS System within the City of Bozeman. Additional responsibilities include project management and training and support for software integrations. The work is performed under the supervision and direction of the GIS Manager, but considerable leeway is granted for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative. The nature of the work performed requires that an employee in this class establish and maintain effective working relationships with the City Manager, Department Heads, other City employees, elected officials, vendors, other government agencies, and the general public. The principal duties of this class are performed in a general office environment.
Engineering Inspector $65,811.20 - $71,926.40 Annually Performs inspections of City construction and improvement projects, including visiting construction sites, reporting and documenting any non-compliance issues to the project engineer, and ensuring the implementation of any necessary traffic control measures; Enforces contractor compliance with City, County, and State codes, ordinances, and laws; Attends preconstruction conferences for city public works projects.
Planner II $38.55 - $42.13 Hourly The principal function of an employee in this class is to apply professional standards to planning, administration, coordination, research and implementation of neighborhood plans, business development, housing, and urban development. The work is performed under the supervision and direction of the Development Review Manager or Community Development Manager, but considerable leeway is granted for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative. This class is distinguished from the class of Planner I by additional work experience and by the performance of a wide variety of more complex planning duties, including completing minor projects autonomously. The nature of the work performed requires that an employee in this class establish and maintain effective working relationships with the Planning and Community Development Director, other City employees, Municipal, State and Federal officials, representatives of neighborhood organizations, business and community organizations and the public. The principal duties of this class are performed in a general office environment.
Recreation Leader $21.00 Hourly The principal function of an employee in this class is to organize, implement, evaluate and market quality recreation program and events for people of all ages and abilities. The work is performed under the supervision and direction of an assigned supervisor, but considerable leeway is granted for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative. The nature of the work performed requires that an employee in this class establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, City officials, community and neighborhood organizations and the general public. The principal duties of this class are performed in various recreational settings, both indoors and outdoors.
