Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider with a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. We are in search of a highly motivated Corporate Legal Counsel candidate to work from our headquarters located in Chantilly, VA.

As a trusted counselor to the Executive Leadership Team, the ideal candidate will assist with employment-related legal matters, including workplace policies, regulatory compliance, wrongful termination cases, discrimination claims, and labor law issues. This role requires strong research skills, the ability to draft and review legal documents, along with a comprehensive understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Review and respond to pre-litigation employment, demand letters, complaints, subpoenas and labor claims.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents such as contracts, proposals, employment agreements, arbitration agreements, and compliance materials.
  • Assist outside counsel in case preparation, including discovery, depositions, and trial support.
  • Organize and maintain case files & internal contracts folders, ensuring all documents are properly filed and updated.
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and external legal entities as required.
  • Stay informed about changes in employment laws and provide updates to the HR Team.


Required Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school is required.
  • An active member in good standing with the Virginia State Bar
  • Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably with a focus on employment law.
  • Solid understanding of federal, state, and local employment and labor laws.
  • Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism.
