Job Title: Senior IT Product Specialist Location(s): Fairfield, CA (Remote) Top Things: Broadcom experience, monitoring experience, self starter. The Role: Integrate monitoring and event management tools into an Observability and AIOps platform. Build and improve monitoring and instrumentation to identify issues before they affect customers. Minimum Qualifications: Excellent communicator and collaborator with cross-functional teams such as operations, application, database and VMware support and enterprise NOC. Strong cross-team communication skills. Work independently but also with a team. Experience with exchanging data between applications using API's. Understanding of JSON and XML payloads and how to modify them to support normalizing the data between applications. 3 years of experience with production systems. Strong development and automation skills. Experience with Kubernetes and supporting tooling. Experience with Java programming languages. 3 years of experience with technical infrastructure (e.g., deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting). Experience with Linux system administration, BA/BS in Computer Science, IT Networking, Security, or a related technical degree, Preferred Qualifications: Experience with the building blocks of large-scale systems including load balancing, distributed/cloud computing, containers, instrumentation, and monitoring. Experience with monitoring and observability systems and tools (Broadcom Operations Intelligence, Broadcom NetOps, Grafana, Oracle EM, Dynatrace, PagerDuty, etc), Experience with Postman to facilitate development and testing of integrations.
