Third-Party Radiology Application Analyst

Baptist Health is looking for a Third-Party Radiology Application Analyst to join our team. This is a remote position that requires residency in KY or IN

Under general direction, responsible for application and integration of information technology in thehealthcare setting. This position will serve as a liaison between the IT department and operations to alignsystem design with operational processes. This includes data collection, workflow analysis, systemconfiguration, testing, and support. Participates in application deployment and procedure documentation.Ensures that the software build meets organizational goals and external mandates such as HIPAA andMeaningful Use. Has technical knowledge of all phases of applications system analysis and projectmanagement. Acts as project coordinator for medium sized projects with medium budgets and may or maynot have system-wide implications.

Essential Duties:

• Manage stakeholder expectations by analyzing expectations and requirements.

• Identify project issues and risks and resolve or escalate as appropriate.

• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to complete tasks.

• Lead or actively participate in meetings.

• Participate in several projects at one time.

• Lead a single project.

• Provide advanced knowledge of product features, functionality and utilization of theapplication software.

• Monitor system effectiveness and/or performance to determine if there are any potentialproblems, report critical findings to peers and/or manager and resolve moderately complex problems.

• Participate/lead in disaster recovery initiatives.

• Review and test changes, interfaces, data conversion, enhancements, and each newrelease as assigned.

• Provide assigned on-site support during go-lives and system upgrades.

• Provide 24/7 support when scheduled.

• Resolve or triage support calls as applicable.

• Serve as a resource to Associate and Intermediate level analysts as needed for resolutionof support calls.

• Develop and maintain test scripts to reflect proposed workflow solutions.

• Support the training team by keeping trainers abreast of new functionality and systemchanges.

• Develop and maintain documentation on the organization's file share platform.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required

• Bachelor's degree

• Minimum four years direct experience in lieu of degree.
