Principal Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Architect with 10 to 14 years of experience in Warehouse Management Systems specifically in Manhattan WMoS Manhattan SCALE and Manhattan Active. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail and warehouse management and will thrive in a hybrid work model with rotational shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of Warehouse Management Systems using Manhattan WMoS Manhattan SCALE and Manhattan Active.
• Oversee the integration of WMS solutions with existing systems to ensure seamless operations.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the development team throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure that all WMS solutions are scalable reliable and meet performance standards.
• Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to optimize system efficiency.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for all WMS implementations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to WMS applications in a timely manner.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Warehouse Management Systems.
• Mentor and train junior team members on best practices and technical skills.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Participate in rotational shifts to provide 24/7 support for WMS operations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of WMS processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience with Manhattan WMoS Manhattan SCALE and Manhattan Active.
• Should possess a strong understanding of retail and warehouse management domains.
• Must have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Should have experience in system integration and performance optimization.
• Must be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model with rotational shifts.
• Should have strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Must be committed to continuous learning and professional development.

Certifications Required

Certified Manhattan WMoS Professional Certified Manhattan SCALE Specialist

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $138,000 to $185,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
