This position reports to

Warehouse  Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for supervising an assigned functional area within the operation that is associated with receiving, order fulfillment, or shipping activities. This position provides direct daily work guidance to Team Leaders and hourly associates and is required to function as the area continuous improvement (lean) champion. The work model for the role is: ONSITE You will be mainly accountable for: • Lead problem solving and continuous improvement project utilizing lean tools and methodologies; Through the utilization of assigned team leaders, complete all daily activities (workload) and execute according to schedule and defined procedures. • Assure assigned area meets/exceed all metrics and when goals are not met, take immediate corrective action to drive improvement; Train/coach Team Leaders so they understand and can execute all assigned duties. • Conduct timely and fair performance appraisals for hourly associates; Provide associates with coaching/counseling as needed and ongoing developmental opportunities. • Conduct daily shift handoff meetings to assure continuity of operations; Assure all health, safety, environmental and housekeeping rules/guidelines are followed; Actively participate in facility-wide improvement projects. Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor degree in business preferred PLUS minimum 3 years distribution or manufacturing supervision experience OR Associate degree PLUS minimum 5 years related experience OR HS diploma/GED PLUS minimum 7 years related experience.
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma problem solving tools.
• Must have strong working knowledge of MARC and other WMS operating systems as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluent in Spanish, a plus
• Day shift position but must be available for occasional Saturday work
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

This position reports to

Warehouse/Internal Logistics Supervisor

Your role and responsibilities

Major Responsibilities/Activities: • Research errors and write up error report • Identify root causes and implement corrective action • Perform stock checks as required • Work with facility departments daily to solve issues with mislabeled or mixed product • Perform Inventory audits and maintain accurate inventory via RF unit • Ensure reports are produced according to schedule and shared with all appropriate functional areas • Perform other duties/projects as required

Qualifications for the role

• Basic Qualifications (Include education, experience, special skills and licenses or certifications required):
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2-year experience in a distribution environment, preferably in continuous improvement, quality, or inventory control
• Analytical and research skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Excel and Word
• Knowledge of TOPS and MARC systems. BMH and KBM system knowledge a plus
• Ability to safely operate powered equipment such as order picker, reach truck, forklift, and pallet jack
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
• Detailed and team oriented.
• Flexible to work different shift if necessary and overtime with little or no notice.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Ability to work a flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
• Exposure to distribution center conditions, which may include loud noises, variable temperatures, and dusty environment.
