Overview

How you can make a difference

The Senior Manager, Data Engineering is responsible for leading a team of data and integration engineers and enterprise data analysts. They will be responsible for creating and enhancing enterprise data products to support business analysis and analytics use cases. They will provide technical, project and people leadership to the team to integrate data from multiple platforms, design data structures, define business logic, and develop end-to-end data solutions. The successful person will have a proven record of strategically leading and managing teams that enable analytics and data democratization. In this role you will split your time between hands-on data analytics, data engineering and managerial activities.

What you'll be doing

    Partner across the organization to drive a culture of using data analytics to deepen insights into Enterprise Financial performance, customer relationships, drive revenue growth and generate business insights.
  • Drive completion of complex projects, including the execution of highly complex data solutions while demonstrating best practices, processes and standards for user story development, data analysis, architecture, modeling, design, coding, and testing.
  • Lead the development, documentation, and maintenance of the enterprise data and its deliverables including the design principles, models, and mappings for transactional and analytical systems serving both strategic and tactical needs.
  • Partner with FPNA and other Data Engineering teams to generate analytics and dashboards.
  • Be a strong advocate for data governance and data quality.

What you will need to be successful

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems or a related field.
  • 15 years of work experience in data and analytics field.
  • Experience translating business requirements to technical data requirements.
  • Extensive leadership and people management skills.
  • Public cloud experience (preferably Azure)
  • NetSuite EPM tools like NSAW and NSPB
  • Data platforms like Databricks and Snowflake
  • Data integration tools like Boomi.
  • Relational databases like SQL Server and Oracle
  • BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Data quality tools or techniques
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex technology solutions to senior leadership, gain alignment, and drive progress.
  • Advanced knowledge of user story development, data warehouse design and modeling (3rd normal form and dimensional modeling), data integration design and development, data engineering and performance tuning.
  • Advanced knowledge of work estimation, design review and code review.
  • Infrequent travel may be required.

Salary Range

$127,000.00 To $145,000.00 / year

The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location.
