About the Role:

The Senior Director, Corporate Controller will oversee critical aspects of the company's financial operations, including accounting, payroll, financial compliance, and external reporting. As a public company, this role is critical in ensuring the company's financial health through accurate reporting, adherence to accounting standards, and effective internal controls.

What you will be doing:

- Collaborate with the CFO to analyze accounting implications of significant business decisions.

- Manage transaction accounting, payroll processing, the close process, and financial controls; oversee global general ledger functions ensuring alignment with professional accounting standards and best practices in accordance with GAAP, IFRS, and local statutory requirements.

- Lead the timely completion of consolidated financial statements and reports for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes.

- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures in compliance with SOX and other relevant standards.

- Stay updated on proposed changes in accounting standards and proactively understand their impact on the company.

- Support the investor relations function by providing accurate financial information and insights.

- Oversee the external audit process for financial reporting.

- Mentor the finance and accounting teams, fostering employee engagement and professional development.

- Execute special projects related to accounting and compliance, such as SOX compliance, ASC 606, and accounting system integration.

- Provide senior management and business unit leaders with timely and actionable GAAP financial statements and closely work with FP&A on reporting metrics and KPIs.

- Drive process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the company's financial close cycle.

- Implement advanced tools and processes to support the company's growth.

To Be Successful You Will Need:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or accounting, or an equivalent qualification.

- At least 10 years of experience in finance/accounting, including roles in public accounting and industry-specific accounting and finance.

- Recent experience with an SEC SOX compliant registrant.

- Minimum 3 years of experience leading teams and developing high-performing finance and accounting professionals.

- Strong technical accounting skills, including proficiency in GAAP, SOX, and IFRS.

- Experience in international statutory and structural setups.

- Demonstrated success in business process improvement within an international company.

- Ability to influence and collaborate across all areas and levels of the business.

- Strong customer service orientation and ability to work independently and within a team environment.

- Outstanding collaboration skills with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders to achieve company goals.

- Experience in a company that manufactures and sells physical products is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm.

- Experience in the healthcare/life sciences sector.

Below is the base pay range for this full-time position. The actual base pay will depend on several factors unique to each candidate, including one's skills, qualifications, and experience. At 10x, base pay is also just one component of the Company's total compensation package. This role is also eligible for 10x's equity grants, its comprehensive health and retirement benefit programs, and its annual bonus program or sales incentive program.
