Title: Quality Verification Technician
Location: Oxford, MS

Salary: $19.76 per hour with an increase to $22.04 per hour after 90 days and successful evaluations
Schedule: 5-8's

Focus: The Quality Verification Technician is responsible for performing a variety of inspections and audits associated with all processes in multiple departments.

Quality Verification Tech Essential Job Functions:
  • Support manufacturing operations in the Quality Verification functions.
  • Use precision measuring instruments, gauges, and scales to measure specified variables for each of the assigned manufacturing processes; Perform detail visual inspections of product.
  • Utilize appropriate RCRA procedures to conduct hazardous waste tasks as assigned.
  • Interpret and follow inspections plans and work authorization.
  • Ensure daily reports are accurate and legible; Accurately enter data into spreadsheets or Infinity QS software.
Quality Verification Tech Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Demonstrated job stability.
  • Previous experience in a quality technician role preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing preferred.
  • Prior Winchester experience in a relevant position preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to work weekends, including overtime
  • Ability to meet physical demands of role to include, but not limited to, repetitive hand movements, bending, continuous standing/walking, and occasionally picking up material weighing up to 30 pounds.

Location-Specific Requirements:

  • This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
  • This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
  • Must be able to attend orientation and training on 1st shift (7:30a-3:30p) before transitioning to primary assignment. Training could take up to six (6) weeks to complete.
