As a Senior analyst, there is additional emphasis on problem-solving and recommendations for changes or alternatives to meet business needs. What You Do.
- As a member of an Agile (SAFe) team, works to identify system solutions or new functionality to address business requirements in new or existing processes. Participates in Agile team activities to address prioritized backlog of requirements. Creates or updates existing application configurations to meet design requirements in full compliance with formal change management and other governance protocols.
- Under the direction of direct line supervisor, builds and maintains expertise in the broad application architecture and functionality which may include various modules of SAP S/4 HANA or similar Supply Chain SaaS platforms, and other allied and/or integrated solutions. Works to develop and maintain an end-to-end business process view for all applications assigned and collaborates with the full Applications Group and with end-users.
- Responsible for ongoing personal development to maintain up-to-date expertise in the relevant functionality of SAP S/4HANA as well as interconnected SAP functions, and/or other relevant solutions. These include SAP MM module with a Procurement and Master data emphasis. Creates and maintains documentation to describe solution configuration, process flow and behavior, testing, defects, and incident/problem resolution. Updates training documents for new or modified processes or functionality for end users or technical support staff.
- Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about system processes or configuration.
- Responsible for reacting to all off-hour calls regarding system problems in a prompt and reasonable time.
Your Education and Experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required
- 3+ years (7+ for senior role) of Materials Management, Procurement and/or Supply Planning Applications experience required
- 2+ years (5+ for senior role) of SAP MM SAP MM Materials Management implementation and support experience required
- Broad knowledge of SAP Partner/Material Master Data preferred
- Knowledge of SAP IBP Supply modules or ABAP Development a plus
- Working and engaging in an Agile team environment a plus
