As a Senior Sales Finance Analyst on our Sales finance team, you will support forecasting, planning, budgeting and reporting of bookings, revenue, headcount and expenses. You will provide several key inputs for corporate finance, field finance and sales strategy teams based on your analysis of financial data and understanding of business drivers. Your expertise in analyzing data and building financial models to identify trends, risks and opportunities will support sales leaders, Corporate FP&A and field operations teams on key decisions.

This role requires in-person attendance in our Bay Area offices at least 3 days per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Track and inspect top line numbers and leading and lagging KPIs across multiple theaters

  • Build and maintain a sales capacity and efficiency model to guide annual planning

  • Execute month-end and quarter-end close processes for sales finance

  • Set up processes to build and report regional P&Ls

  • Provide support to regional teams on numerous expense items

  • Perform ad-hoc analysis to support and influence key decision makers in Finance, Sales and Operations

  • Manage key datasets that are leveraged by business partners

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in finance, investment banking and/or sales operations

  • Proven track record of financial modeling and forecasting

  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to work with data sets and translate into actionable financial insights

  • SQL capabilities are an added advantage but not required

  • Work effectively across cross functional teams on a day to day basis

  • Effective communication and presentation skills to be able to influence multiple stakeholders

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $111,000 - $149,100.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
