The Blue Ring program is part of the In-Space Systems business unit, and is focused on creating satellite systems that address one of the most compelling challenges in spaceflight today: space mobility.As part of a hardworking team of diverseengineers, you will have the outstanding opportunity to contribute to the development, production, and operation of Blue Ring, and play a key role in enabling Blue Origin's vision of millions of people living and working in space. As a Flight Software Engineer II, you will play a crucial role in defining, developing, and testing the flight software for upcoming Blue Ring uncrewed spacecraft. You will work with a team of engineers to understand how the software will be used, define our requirements, create real-time software using modern embedded C/C++ techniques, and contribute to our tests and pipelines to ensure the continued quality of our products. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to expand your understanding of satellite systems by supporting other areas such as avionics hardware and mission operations, and participating in the buildup and test of the actual flight vehicles. Your efforts will directly contribute to a first-of-its-kind system that enables our customers to fly to space and move around like never before, and we look forward to seeing if this role is the right fit for you!
