ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Must be knowledgeable of the operations and procedures associated with all pumping stations, including SCADA system, pumps, electrical, water and air systems, piping systems, operation manuals, contingency plans, and emergency procedures. Must be familiar with all facilities and how each field station or lease operates. Responsible for the upkeep and security of equipment at all facilities and perform routine maintenance on equipment (pumps, pump shafts, packing, etc.). Tasks include welding, pump repair, etc. Operate heavy equipment such as tractors, hoes, etc. Must be familiar with barging operations and the dock system. Assist in barging activities as directed. Assists with the task of hauling crude oil as necessary. Participates in emergency response activities. Communicates, as directed by management, with the general public, governmental representatives, and producer representatives. Will be expected to be on call. Must be able to keep all online training up-to-date. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Two-year degree or certification from a technical school or an apprenticeship program (preferred) and two or more years of experience in an industrial environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certified pipe welder with 2 or more years of experience. Pump maintenance and commercial driving experience. Crude Oil experience preferred. Computer literate and good oral and written communication skills. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Valid CDL license with tanker and HAZMAT endorsements, 24-hour Hazwoper training. |
