Position Summary: Presents a positive image to customers through courteous, on-time, and accurate deliveries of products. Communicates customer issues and concerns. Operates equipment in a professional and safe manner demonstrating attention to detail, safe work habits, working knowledge of equipment, and the ability to deal effectively with customers and the public. Must have a valid US or Canadian Drivers' license with no DOT or Transport Canada restrictions.
Ensures safe, accurate, efficient, and timely deliveries of products. Builds and maintains relationships with customers and peers, collaborating with management and sales representatives to ensure excellent customer service. Completes daily check-ins and driver logs accurately. Performs daily pre/post trip inspection of vehicles and equipment. Monitors temperature, reports mechanical issues or damages in a timely manner. Assists in routing dispatching, ensuring efficient delivery schedules and optimal route planning. Manages Penske reporting and invoices, maintaining accurate records and timely submission. Data entry and record-keeping: Responsible for entering transportation data into computer systems, such as shipment information, delivery schedules, and transportation invoices. Maintains accurate records of transportation activities and transactions. Monitoring transportation performance: Monitors transportation performance to ensure services meet the organization's needs. Tracks transportation metrics, such as delivery times, transportation costs, and customer satisfaction. Assisting with transportation compliance: Ensures transportation activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Maintains transportation records required by law. Assisting with transportation planning: Identifies transportation needs, researches options, and provides recommendations on providers and services. Identify the process or task: Identifies processes or tasks that require SOPs or training documents by observing current practices or consulting with subject matter experts. Develop the content: Develops content for SOPs or training documents, including step-by-step instructions and relevant policies, procedures, or regulations. Reviewing vendor invoices for accuracy: Reviews invoices to ensure they contain accurate information, including the invoice number, date, amount, and any applicable taxes or fees. Responsible for managing and maintaining transportation platforms that support the delivery of goods or services. Performs other duties as assigned.

Ability to adhere to all safety/compliance regulations and procedures. Must maintain a professional appearance. Requires punctuality, problem-solving, and attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to work independently and also function in a team environment. Must be goal-oriented with a positive "can-do" attitude. Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in the English language. Ability to meet the physical demands of this job including lifting, pushing, pulling of products. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and technology platforms.
