Join Lam as an Electrical Engineer! You'll be at the forefront, designing and developing electronic solutions for advanced applications. Your role involves designing equipment, analyzing equipment, conducting experimental tests, and evaluating results to create reliable cutting-edge solutions.

In this role, you will directly contribute to the Sabre 3D product. Sabre 3D is a product designed for use in wafer level packaging (WLP) and through silicon via (TSV) applications.

• Operate as project ownerleading multidisciplinary projects with a high-level of autonomy, managing schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Review complex problem statements and generate solutions. Identify and lead the effort of selecting the best solution.
• Design and develop highly complex electrical systems, sub-systems, and/or solutions, applying engineering methods and ensuring compliancewith Lam and industry standards (SEMI, NFPA-79, etc.).
• Leadresearch and development efforts by collecting and analyzing data to improve electrical system designs.
• Developfunctional specifications for electrical/electro-mechanical systems and power distribution components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering design teams to design and modify custom and OEM system components.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 8+ years of related experience; Master's degree with 6+ years' experience; PhD with 3+ years' experience; or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience in circuit design (analog, digital)and controls theory.
• Solid understanding of AC/DC power distribution systems.
• Knowledgeable in CAD tools for circuit design and simulation (e.g., PCAD, ORCAD, ZUKEN, AutoCAD, Spice).
• Experience in troubleshooting with problem-solving techniques like 5-why, 8D, fishbones, etc.
• Has excellent system level understanding of electrical architecture, design of IO controllers, and applications.
• Proficient in power panel electrical circuit design with safety interlocks and3-phase load analysis.
• Knowledge of applicable electrical related standards like UL, CE, IEC, SEMI, and NFPA-79.
• Proficient at troubleshooting systems with tools like network sniffers, protocol analyzers, oscilloscopes, DVM, and tool logs.

• Experience in power distribution and/or control system design of industrial manufacturing tools.
• Previous experience in the design of Semiconductor Manufacturing tools.
• Experiencedin Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and low voltage circuit design for power and control applications.
• Ability to create and implement test fixtures to verify and validate designs.
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using hand tools and constructing items beyond the scope of electrical engineering in projects.
• Practical experience with sensors, actuators, field busses (e.g.Ethernet, Serial, EtherCAT), measurement and controls technology.
• FW or Application code development experience.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
