Director Idea to Retire (ITR), Digital Transformation Lead

The Office of Digital Transformation at Lam Research is responsible for the creation of next generation business processes and accelerated adoption of technology across the company. The Idea to Retire (ITR), End to End (E2E), Digital Transformation Lead is a unique opportunity to transform a market leading semiconductor company to scale for future growth at an unprecedented time in our industry. We are looking for people with blended experience in product development as well as technology-based transformation in product development process.

• Transform the way Lam uses systems to empower our employees with tools and data for efficiency, lead vision with future state solutions, and drive cross-functional alignment
• Knowledge of product portfolio management, labsystems, product lifecycle management, MBE/MBSE, virtual build.
• Understanding of business process from concept to commercialize (NPI) and experience in delivering market leading productswith technology implementation to support end to product cycle process.
• Deep knowledge of using tools and implementation experience in technology platforms like Siemens NX (CAD), OPCENTER (MES), Teamcenter (PLM), Dassault, SAP
• Deep experience driving companies through engineer to order and configure to order process, deliver simplified product options architecture.
• Vision on transforming engineering and product organizations (shift left) to design and deliver high quality products using best practices
• Working as a partner to lead transformation projects and collaborating with Idea to Retire and other cross functional teams including Quoting, Manufacturing, Quality, IT (Information Technology) and business teams and external suppliers/vendors as needed to drive process changes and adoption
• Experience in integrating AI and ML technologies into product development life cycle, leading to real time analytics, predictive modelling, enhanced decision making.

• Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Scienceor related field. MBA or master's preferred but not required.
• 10+ years of proven experience in opsconsulting, strong knowledge of processes, systems and tools, and improvement initiatives including experience in process digitalization and digital transformation in leading/fast growth companies
• Experience in market analytics for new tools and process improvements for complex,growth companies
• Storyteller with an ability to drive organizational change management
• Consistently shows exponential thinking and incremental execution
• Functional knowledge of business process design for quote-to-cash including Item, BOM, product configuration, price analytics, and approvals
• Deep knowledge driving NPI processes leading to accurate configuration, pricing especially for engineer to order scenarios
• Proficient knowledge of the systems implementation and development life cycles.
• Deep understanding of cross functional business processes and connectivity
• Influences and drives change by driving partnerships and alignment across the orgs

• AI-Machine Learning concepts and experience with ML technology
• Experience with SAP preferred or other ERP

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
