Senior Java Full Stach Developer (Hybrid)

Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Senior Java Developer who will be responsible for designing and architecting high-performance Java-based enterprise systems. They work closely with business collaborators' software developers and IT teams to create scalable secure and efficient solutions. This role involves defining architecture guidelines ensuring consistency to standard methodologies and making technology decisions to align with long-term business objectives.

Location: Raleigh, NC.

• Above 7 years of experience working in a hands-on role and currently playing a senior / lead developer role
• Must be an expert in JAVA and spring boot tech stack developing components and creating/consuming REST APIs.
• Good project experience on cloud (AWS) experience, Openshift experience is required.
• Have worked on web application development (Angular) is desired
• Fraud Tech space / BFS payment knowledge experience - Preferred
• Have thorough knowledge on Unit testing using JUnits. Have implemented Swagger UI in REST Services testing.
• Have setup pipeline in GitLab using tools like GIT, SONAR, black duck etc., is added advantage. Strong technical leadership skills and having worked on Agile teams.

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or computer science with Min 7+ years of exp.
• Proficiency with Java, Spring boot, Design Patterns, Openshift, MQ and system design
• Bring lot of solution approaches for consideration with pros and cons
• BFS payment experience
• Previous work experience as a software or Java Developer.
• Advanced knowledge of software architecture.
• Experience with the design and implementation of software networks.
• Experience with software design and web programming.
• High-level project management skills.
• Ability to solve complex software system issues.
• Good communication skills

The annual salary for this position is between $68,422 to $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
