Blue Prism Platform Support Engineer (ONSITE)

Role: Blue Prism Platform Support Engineer

Location: Waukegan, Illinois, USA

Responsibilities:

1. Release Management: Deploy automations in non-production and production environments
2. System Monitoring: Conduct continuous oversight of the Blue Prism platform to ensure seamless operation and promptly identify any potential issues.
3. Incident Management: Address and resolve incidents related to the Blue Prism platform, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes. Perform minor fixes to the Blue Prism automations, whenever required
4. System Patching: Apply necessary patches and updates to maintain the platform's security and performance.
5. Permissions and Access Management: Administer user permissions and access to ensure secure and appropriate utilization of the platform.
6. Performance Tuning: Optimize the platform's performance to ensure efficient and effective operation.
7. Bot Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor and resolve issues with robotic process automation (RPA) bots, including addressing instances of stuck bots.
8. Collaboration with Teams: Collaborate with delivery leads and other teams to manage operations and drive continuous improvement in support and enhancements.
9. Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses to identify the root causes of complex issues and implement resolutions to prevent recurrence.
10. User Acceptance Testing: Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing on behalf of the business users

1. Expertise in Blue Prism: Solid experience with Blue Prism architecture, components, and functionalities.
2. System Monitoring: Expertise in utilizing monitoring tools and techniques to ensure platform stability and performance.
3. Incident Management: Proficient in managing and resolving incidents efficiently to minimize downtime.
4. Scripting and Automation: Skilled in scripting languages and automation tools to enhance platform capabilities.
5. Communication Skills: Exceptional communication abilities to collaborate effectively with teams and convey technical information clearly.
6. Commitment to Continuous Learning: Dedicated to ongoing learning and staying informed of the latest developments in Blue Prism and RPA technologies.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $95,000 - $108,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
