Mainframe Developer (On site)

Our practice is seeking a highly qualified Mainframe Developer with experience in developing and building impactful, scalable, enterprise applications.

Location: Alpharetta, Georgia, Berkeley Heights, New Jersey

The annual salary for this position is between 60,000 - 93,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.

• Perform analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation of mainframe modules based on various customer project requirements.
• Attend daily project status calls with different customers across the globe.
• Conduct daily status calls with offshore counterparts, manage day-to-day work assignments, and review progress with the offshore team to ensure smooth transition to the next phase.

• 6 to 8 years of mainframe development experience, covering all phases of the software development life cycle.
• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and DB2.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with global customers and offshore teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality of work.
