Microsoft Teams/ Cisco Unified CM - Technical Lead Location: Santa Clara, CA Please note, this role is not able to offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future* We are seeking a Technical Lead with 5 to 9 years of experience in Microsoft Teams Audio/Video Conferencing Cisco Unified Communication Manager Unified Communication - Avaya Cisco IP Telephony and Basic IP Telephony. The role involves leading technical projects ensuring seamless communication solutions and contributing to the company's growth. Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of communication solutions using Microsoft Teams and other telephony systems. Oversee the integration of Audio/Video Conferencing tools to ensure seamless communication across the organization. Provide technical expertise in Cisco Unified Communication Manager to optimize communication infrastructure. Manage and support Unified Communication Avaya systems to enhance user experience. Implement and maintain Cisco IP Telephony solutions to ensure reliable communication. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Basic IP Telephony to minimize downtime. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand communication needs and provide appropriate solutions. Ensure all communication systems are up to date with the latest security patches and updates. Conduct regular audits of communication systems to ensure compliance with company policies. Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the use of communication tools. Develop and maintain documentation for all communication systems and processes. Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the communication domain to provide innovative solutions. Qualifications Must have experience in Microsoft Teams and Audio/Video Conferencing. Should have expertise in Cisco Unified Communication Manager and Unified Communication Avaya. Must be proficient in Cisco IP Telephony and Basic IP Telephony. Should have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Must possess excellent communication and collaboration skills. Should have a proactive approach to learning and implementing new technologies. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Should have a strong understanding of network security and compliance. Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Should have experience in providing training and support to end-users. Must have strong documentation skills. Should be able to monitor and analyze system performance. Must be committed to staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until 03/07/2025 The annual salary for this position is between $37,804- $86,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
