Job Title: Lead Full Stack Engineer.

Are you a seasoned Full Stack Engineer with a passion for frontend development and a knack for creating robust Angular solutions within AWS? We're seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to take on the role of Lead Full Stack Engineer. In this role, you will own the delivery of assigned modules and lead a durable product team in designing, developing, and optimizing cloud-native applications. If you're a problem solver with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in full stack development, we want to hear from you!

Roles/Responsibilities:

Take ownership of delivery for assigned modules, ensuring timely and high-quality execution.

Leverage 10+ years of full stack engineering experience, with a strong emphasis on frontend development using Angular.

Build and maintain Angular (6+) solutions within AWS, with at least 5+ years of relevant experience in the platform.

Drive automation and optimization initiatives to enhance application efficiency.

Develop and support MVP User Stories, reusable components, APIs, UI elements, and mock stubs.

Participate in backlog creation, prioritization, and story mapping activities.

Support technical design and solutioning efforts.

Create, maintain, and enhance cloud-native solutions as part of a cohesive product team.

Research, evaluate, and implement new technologies to optimize application usability.

Design new functionalities based on product backlog priorities and coordinate development efforts with cross-functional teams.

Maintain records to document system and programming development and revisions.

Utilize CICD automation and best practices to deliver quality solutions.

Apply iterative development principles to deliver value through frequent deployments.

Create user-focused experiences by combining usability with visual design.

Develop prototypes and wireframes for websites and applications.

Ensure adherence to brand consistency with appropriate design, coding, and cybersecurity standards.

Lead design and code walkthroughs as a presenter or reviewer.

Job-specific Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities:

Proficient in Angular 18+, TypeScript, Terraform, and consuming RESTful APIs.

Strong experience with Git for version control.

Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, CloudFront, Route53, API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, Aurora, etc.

Experience with event-driven architecture leveraging Kafka.

Exposure to code scanning tools such as SonarQube, CheckMarx, and CodeQL.

Preferred Qualifications:

Effective communication skills.

Full stack development experience with exposure to Java cloud-native APIs.

Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or other cloud platforms.

Demonstrated success in complex problem solving and quality delivery.

Ability to collaborate with individuals having differing priorities, views, and goals.

Leadership skills in guiding others through the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Familiarity with Confluence, GitHub, and Jira.

The annual salary for this position is between $81K - $141K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
