Job Title: Technical Lead - React JS Location: Remote Job ID: SO# 00062783041 The Role: Individual Contributor External Facing Role & guiding offshore Role and Responsibilities: * Production Support: Provide ongoing support for web applications, ensuring their availability, reliability, and performance in a production environment. * Shift Timings : M-F 9-5 CST. Once a month, weekend on call rotation. * Incident Management: Quickly identify, diagnose, and resolve production issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring timely communication with stakeholders. * Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement long-term solutions to prevent future occurrences. * Monitoring and Alerts: Set up and maintain monitoring tools and alerts to proactively identify potential issues before they impact users. * Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications. * Offshore Coordination: Coordinate with offshore teams to ensure seamless integration and support across different time zones. * Guiding the offshore team if there are any technical challenges * Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of support processes, incident resolutions, and system configurations. * Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of production support. Required Experience: * Experience: 10+ years of experience in web development and production support, with a strong focus on React.js skills * Technical Skills: Proficiency React JS, Java Script, and with other front-end frameworks and libraries. * Experience with monitoring tools, incident management systems, and version control systems (e.g., Git). * Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. * Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and offshore partners. * Healthcare Domain experience preferred. * Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure). Salary and Other Compensation: Applicants will be accepted till 3/21/2025 The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $82K-$105K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
