QA/ Tester / Device Tester

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Developer with 4 to 6 years of experience in Test and Defect Management and Manual Testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the ISV and Hi-Tech domains. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can contribute to our projects effectively during day shifts. No travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the testing efforts for various projects within the ISV and Hi-Tech domains.
• Oversee the defect management process to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Provide comprehensive manual testing to ensure the quality and functionality of software products.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality testing outcomes.
• Develop and maintain test plans test cases and test scripts.
• Execute test cases and document results to ensure software meets specifications.
• Identify report and track defects using appropriate tools and methodologies.
• Ensure that all testing activities are conducted in accordance with established standards and procedures.
• Participate in project meetings to provide input on testing timelines and deliverables.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure their needs are met.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in testing and defect management.
• Ensure that all testing activities are completed within the project timelines and budget.

Qualifications

• Possess strong experience in Test and Defect Management.
• Have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
• Demonstrate expertise in the ISV and Hi-Tech domains.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Show proficiency in using testing tools and defect management software.
• Have strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Be detail-oriented and capable of working independently.
