Job Summary
A ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect - HRSD guides and leads the delivery of ServiceNow implementations by providing guidance and thought leadership to both our client and internal resources in platform design, integration design, development standards, platform management methods, technology strategy consulting, and HRSD domain standards and best-practices. Find solutions to business problems ensuring that the new solutions fit into the existing enterprise architecture from the technical, business, and user perspectives. They can describe solutions that are understandable to all. They should be able to facilitate communication (bridge the gap) between process owners and the C-Suite. Additionally, provides technical leadership on projects, including hands on problem solving and development, mentoring, and peer review.
What You Will Do
- Lead Requirements workshops and design discussions for HRSD projects, collaborating on both ServiceNow and HRSD standard processes.
- Manage all important project processes such as: platform architecture documentation, integration documentation, work-effort estimation and hands-on advanced development.
- Translate requirements/stories and mock-ups into fully functional features by working closely with the implementation project team.
- Complete technical development and configuration at the highest standard of technical quality contributing with assignments, follow up and guidance to Junior / Mid developers.
- Provide technical design within our projects following ServiceNow standard processes.
- Understand and share what frameworks, platform application, or technical stack can be used to devise a solution.
- Understand how the ServiceNow application will look, what modules will be in scope, and how they will interact with each other.
- Understand how the ServiceNow digital solution will scale in the future and how it will be supported.
- Provide peer review for completed work.
- Ability to define the Risk vs. Value Proposition for third party integrations with ServiceNow.
- Ability to clearly define platform and project governance for both business and technical customers.
- Ability to support Organizational Change Management.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Delivery Services processes as well as the maturing of the different portfolios, capabilities, expertise, and standard processes in consideration of Customer needs and requirements.
- Fill technical or process roles in our projects, if needed.
- Lead, educate, mentor and develop fellow team members assigned to their projects.
- Assist in the scoping of new opportunities, design tools and techniques to deliver efficiently.
- Act as the final technical decision-maker within a project.
Experience & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Information Technology, Engineering, or the Sciences
- 1+ years as ServiceNow CTA
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- HRSD Pro or Pro Plus required
- Validated - 2 ServiceNow CIS certifications required outside of HRSD
- Employee Center / Content Publishing experience an asset
- Has a high-level of understanding in scripting and app development, including familiarity with web services, APIs and mobile application design.
- 6+ years working on the ServiceNow platform
- 4+ years in an HRSD domain
- Participated in 20+ ServiceNow implementations across various disciplines
- 4+ years of architecting solutions in the ServiceNow platform
- Angular JS, Soap, Rest, JSON, Ajax, CSS, SaSS, HTML5, SP Widgets, and XML are all desired.
- Skilled in Excel, PPT, and Visio
Applications will be accepted until March 15, 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $134,000 - $161,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
