JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Pennsylvania State University is seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant -Senior Support to support the Director of Student Leadership & Involvement and provide general ad hoc support to the Associate Director for Student Leadership & Involvement, Campus Programming.

This role involves prioritizing projects, managing complex calendars, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, training administrative support staff, and serving as the office manager for one of two Student Leadership & Involvement Suites, including the supervision of student support positions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily Student Affairs contract process, which includes reviewing and processing contracts, coordinating with student organizations and staff units to ensure all necessary documentation is complete, and providing guidance on contract requirements and procedures. This role involves ensuring compliance with university policies and regulations. Additionally, you will maintain accurate records of all contracts.

  • Provide high-level administrative and project coordination for the Director of Student Leadership & Involvement.

  • Prioritize projects and manage complex calendars.

  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Serve as the office manager for one of two Student Leadership & Involvement Suites, supervising student support positions.

  • Act as the primary Web Administrator for the unit, liaising between unit staff and Student Affairs Communications and Marketing to ensure timely and accurate web content updates.

  • Offer general ad hoc support to the Associate Director for Student Leadership & Involvement, Campus Programming.

  • Provide occasional training and support to administrative support staff throughout the unit.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is:

$42,100.00 - $61,000.00
