Manufacturing Operator 6 months Holly Springs, NC 27540 Shift: D (6PM-6AM ) 2,2,3 (Gerald Waller) Day 2-2-3 schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on) which will include weekends. Job Description: Reporting to the Supervisor of Manufacturing, you will be a shop floor worker in the manufacturing organization. You will train with us on the technical skill sets necessary to manufacture high-quality biologicals safely in a compliant, efficient, and cost-effective manner. While in this entry-level role, you will be continually evaluated for possible consideration to be transferred to available roles with additional responsibilities. * Train to become a hands-on resource in Vaccine production. * Clean and prepare production equipment. * Disinfect production rooms. * Assemble, set-up, and disassembly of production equipment. * Complete process steps according to defined SOPs and BPRs. * Document activities following cGMPs. * Handle biologically and chemically hazardous materials. * Work with process automation systems and electronic business systems (e.g., PAS, BAS, LIMS, SAP, and DeltaV.) * Be involved in Qualification and Validation activities. * Work within a teamwork environment. * Troubleshoot equipment issues within the process of making the vaccine. * Perform batch record reviews. Minimum Required Qualifications: * Ability to stand and work a 12hr, 2-2-3 Alternating Work Schedule. * Ability to Lift 50lbs. * High school diploma or HS equivalency (or GED with some college coursework). * Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. * Basic knowledge of cGMP and GDP practices. * Experience completing SOPs and documenting work. * Basic mechanical aptitude or knowledge of electrical/mechanical equipment. * At least six months of experience in an aseptic environment. * Must be able to pass a Basic Visual Requirements Test. Preferred / Nice to Have Qualifications: * Biotechnology coursework (Bioworks Certification). * Bachelor's degree in science or engineering. * Experience using LIMS, SAP, or DeltaV. |
